Future Trends in the Application of Isotopes and Radiation

For some three decades, isotopes have found steadily increasing application in our scientifictechnical world. The extent and the variability of these applications are probably not known to the majority of the people. Actually there are only few areas in scientific research, agriculture, medicine and industrial production which have not benefitted in one way or another from these modern and versatile tools of science and technology. Only modern electronics and data processing may have had a comparably widespread influence on technology.
